PATRICK O'MEARA

Managing Principal & Founder

Patrick O’Meara is the Managing Principal and Founder of Taylor Street, a full service real estate group of commercial and residential investment sales, capital advisory, investment, property management and design companies.  He is also the Designated Broker of Taylor Street Realty Services.

In his 20-year career, Patrick has invested, managed, financed or sold over $5.2 billion of commercial and residential real estate nationwide for institutional and private clients and for his portfolio. Though a specialist in multifamily, retail, and office, he also has financed and invested in student housing, industrial, hotels, manufactured housing, self-storage and land development. In addition, Patrick was a minority owner and board member of the private Ann Arbor Acquisition company that owned a short-line railroad, distribution centers and warehouse facilities Michigan and Ohio.

Formerly, Patrick was a Director of Marcus & Millichap’s elite Institutional Property Advisors and Director of Marcus Millichap Capital Corporation in Phoenix, AZ. He advised private and institutional clients in acquisitions, dispositions, equity and debt, executing solely or as part of a team on over $500 million in multifamily, student housing, retail and hotels.

Prior to Marcus & Millichap, Patrick was an executive in several entities within the Inland Group of Companies in Oak Brook, IL. In his 10-year career, he directly or facilitated the investment or financing of over $3.5 billion in multifamily, retail, office, industrial and student housing for Inland’s REITs and opportunistic funds. In addition, for Inland’s high leverage finance group, he advised and invested over $520 million in equity for value-add, new construction opportunities and CMBS distressed debt investments.

Before Inland, Patrick was with Heller Financial, a GE Capital company, in Chicago, IL in the CMBS equity investment group where he and his manager invested and managed over $390 million in high yield and investment grade bonds. Prior to then, he was a portfolio manager within the CMBS securitization team, responsible for a revolving portfolio of over $720 million of loans warehoused for securitizations.

Patrick went to the University of Arizona graduating with BSBA degrees in Accounting and Finance and extended study international finance at City University of London. He currently holds a Designated Broker license in Arizona and a Managing Broker license in Illinois.  He formerly held a Series 65, Registered Investment Advisor license.  He is currently a member of International Council of Shopping Centers, Mortgage Bankers Association, Arizona Multi-Housing Association and Southeast Valley Realtors.
